A World of Contemporary Art....

I am a contemporary Australian artist who is self taught and self represented. It has been suggested that I paint because I can but that's not it ... I create because there is so much beauty in our world that I cannot help but be inspired.  It is taking a sight or emotion and transferring it into an image of my own, taking bold and fantastic colours and arranging them in such a way that they explode off the canvas.

My paintings are playful, emotion, bold, brilliant and striking ... an extension of myself that grows and develops as I do.  I can't wait to see what happens next.  I love to experiment with technique, paints, tools and mediums.  Each piece of art is multi layered fluid and random which makes it original and gives each piece depth and texture.  The paint is applied randomnly by brush, poured, splat, splash and flicked. These applications create random, beautiful effects that are unique to each poured creation and add beauty to each piece.
Premmie's Gift of Hope Journal .....
In early 2011 a painting was commisioned and donated for use as the cover for the Premmie Gift of Hope Journal which was printed to start distribution in October 2011.  The journal's provide a unique record for parents to record their beautiful babies journey through the rollercoaster ride of the neonatal intensive care unit. It is hoped that the journal will become a treasured keepsake of the precious experiences of the families time in hospital.  It was a priviledge and honour for me to be involved in this project! Premmie Gift of Hope
